Alissa & Wes {Proposal} Springfield, MO Wedding Photographer

When Wes (my assistant Alissa's boyfriend) called me to help coordinate/photograph their proposal I was ecstatic! Naturally ;-) She was scheduled to work that day and when I canceled that morning, her friend Megan took over and they went on an "Amazing Race" scavenger hunt. She had heard something around campus about an Amazing Race type event, so she didn't think anything of it. Finally, when she was sent to get flowers and was blindfolded...I think she caught on. ;-) I was jittery all day, as I'm sure Wes was all week! It was such a special evening...the pictures say it all. Congrats loves!! xoxo

Wes' other accomplice Megan ;-)

Vintage Veranda Tea Room {Grand Opening July 9, 2012 11:00 am} Springfield, MO Small Business Photographer

Oh man...there's nothing better than photographing yummy food and then eating it! ;-) If you have not enjoyed a meal catered by Patty of Simply Delicious Catering, then the Vintage Veranda is a MUST try! I have a feeling Alissa & I will frequent there. haha! Patty is such a wonderful, hard working person and her food is phenomenal. She is an asset to the wedding community and we're so excited for her and her latest venture the Tea Room! The Vintage Veranda Tea Room is located at 724 South Scenic Springfield, MO, right next to Robin's Vintage Suitcase (and not far from Ms. Gilmore's Carriage House).

The Vintage Veranda is having it's grand opening on July 9, 2012 at 11:00 am. The tea room is also available for rehearsal dinners, showers or any party or special occasion. For more information and to make your reservation call 417.866.1145. I encourage everyone to visit! So amazing :-)

Patty- BIG congrats! Alissa & I were flattered and honored to be invited to lunch last week. The Tea Room is beautiful and we enjoyed our delicious (and visually appealing, hehe) meal. XO
