Bridal Show Info & Tips {Winter 2012} Springfield, MO Wedding Photographers
This is my first attempt at this so forgive any "ums" or "uhhs". haha! And I have one little correction to make. All About Weddings website is www.allaboutweddingsmissouri.com NOT www.allaboutweddingsspringfield.com. :-) We will be at both upcoming Bridal shows and would love to see you all there! I hope this information is helpful!
1) Research area vendors prior to the show & before setting your budget
One way to save time during the bridal show is to research and familiarize yourself with the wedding vendors in your area that will be exhibiting. Also, be sure to pick up a copy of Metropolitan Bride (our feature here) & 417 Bride magazines and scroll through them before you get to the show. To see which local merchants are exhibiting and to pre-register for the shows, follow the links below:
All About Weddings: www.allaboutweddingsmissouri.com
Metropolitan Bride: www.metbride.com
2) Have a game plan
You will have a limited amount of time during the bridal shows to visit a ton of vendors, so make the best use of your time by putting a list together of who you'd like to visit with and learn more about. Having an idea of who you want to meet at the shows, will help you use your time more efficiently & narrow down your vendors quickly.
3) Find out who you connect with. Will they provide you with the products and services you need? Will they be fun to work with? Will they be there from start to finish, giving you the best possible experience? Those are the less obvious questions to ask yourself but very worth considering. :-)
4) Consider hiring a wedding planner
Area Wedding Planners:
Scarlett with Swept Away : www.sweptawayrentals.com
Mary with Bringing it Together: www.bringingittogetherevents.com
5) Post Show: Don't let the information you gather collect dust.
Do yourself a favor and arrange to go through and organize all the literature you got from the bridal shows while everything is still fresh! This way you can follow up with your chose vendors and book them asap (and before they are already committed).
I hope that helps all of you! Feel free to email christinebonnivier@gmail.com or call 717.856.0016 and I'd be happy to answer your questions as best I can. I can't wait to see you all at the Bridal Shows! :-) You can find more Bridal Show tips here.
What an incredible year it has been. To see what we've been up to, check out our most recent posts on the blog: http://christinebonnivierphotography.blogspot.com/ I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Love & Hugs,
Christine

Christmas at The Bonnivier's {Personal} Winter 2012
Deck the Halls with Disco Balls! We had Christmas early here in MO because Levi & I are heading to Philly on Sunday! Thank goodness we didn't make plans to fly out today...it's quite blustery! Dodged that travel nightmare ;-) I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful snowy day. I am loving it! (Mostly because I know tomorrow it will be back to 50 degrees). haha! Anyone else with me on that one?
Last Saturday was so much fun! It was a very 'Springfield Christmas', complete with Elle's truffles (and by the way...holy DELISH!) and cupcakes from The Cup. We devoured some Italiano hor d'oeuvres (what a treat) and enjoyed glazed ham, roasted chicken, rice pilaf & roasted veggies for dinner. Everything was delightful! So thankful everyone could come over & celebrate with us! Love you guys!
Merry Christmas ya'll! I will be out of the office next week visiting my family on the East Coast. I hope everyone gets to steal some time off to spend with loved ones. xo
Warm wishes,
Christine

Twinsies! I would have never been able to relax if it hadn't been for Kiley...she rocks in the kitchen. :-) |
You know those "Awkward Family Pictures" that we're all too familiar with? This is Andrew & Kiley's take on it...so freakin' hilarious! We laughed and laughed. :-) |

Yay for 2012! {Personal} Springfield, MO Photographers
I recapped CBP's 2012 yesterday and decided why not go down memory lane again today. :-) Levi and I have had some really fun adventures and enjoyed the company of many a fine folk this year. ;-) It has been a blast! We celebrated our 4 year Anniversary as well as 4 wonderful years in our home here in Missouri. It's hard to believe all that has happened in 4 short years. What an incredible journey it has been :-) Tonight 'the girls' (my Mom & Sister in law, niece and dear friend Kiley) are going the Nutcracker Ballet and tomorrow we are celebrating Christmas early, before Levi & I head east to celebrate again with my side of the family. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday! Warm wishes and love to all this season! XO

Our good friends Eric, Bethany and their adorable chessy pup Bodhi came all the way from PA to visit us! It's a big deal when someone travels a thousand miles to visit. We are so thankful! That week, we thoroughly caught up and reminisced old times. We also saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert in Tulsa. Thanks again loves! |
Levi, his sister Callie & our dear friend Andrew ran A TON this year and participated in Bass Pro's Fitness Festival. I am so proud of them! |
