Yay for 2012! {Personal} Springfield, MO Photographers

I recapped CBP's 2012 yesterday and decided why not go down memory lane again today. :-) Levi and I have had some really fun adventures and enjoyed the company of many a fine folk this year. ;-) It has been a blast! We celebrated our 4 year Anniversary as well as 4 wonderful years in our home here in Missouri. It's hard to believe all that has happened in 4 short years. What an incredible journey it has been :-)  Tonight 'the girls' (my Mom & Sister in law, niece and dear friend Kiley) are going the Nutcracker Ballet and tomorrow we are celebrating Christmas early, before Levi & I head east to celebrate again with my side of the family. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday! Warm wishes and love to all this season! XO

Our good friends Eric, Bethany and their adorable chessy pup Bodhi came all the way from PA to visit us! It's a big deal when someone travels a thousand miles to visit. We are so thankful! That week, we thoroughly caught up and reminisced old times. We also saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert in Tulsa. Thanks again loves! 

Levi, his sister Callie & our dear friend Andrew ran A TON this year and participated in Bass Pro's Fitness Festival. I am so proud of them!

Things I Love Thursday {Fitness Festival 2012} Springfield, MO

My husband Levi has always been into fitness and a was an avid cross country runner in his High School years. After high school he lost the desire to do anything competitive, until now. :-) Ironically, my sis-in-law  Callie was less involved in High School and is a crazy running fanatic now. *hehe*

Last Saturday Bass Pro Shops (founded here in Springfield, MO) hosted the Outdoor Fitness Festival's Conservation Marathon and it was super fun! Callie ran the Half Marathon and Levi, his co-worker and friends ran the Marathon Relay. Everyone did AWESOME and even Buddha bear came along and had a good time. It takes a lot of dedication and guts to do long runs! SO PROUD of everyone who ran!

Things I Love Thursday {Minications, RHCP & Halloween} Springfield, MO Photographers

Where to begin!? As I was putting this post together, it felt so random but it's not everyday we have vacas in October, friends who travel 1000 miles to see us, a concert in Tulsa and Halloween festivities...all in the same week!

Levi and I were super blessed by our friends recently, who made a 16 hour trip from PA to see us!! Bethany & I had been planning on seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Tulsa, OK for months, and she was planning on flying out a day before the concert but plans changed when we got news that Eric didn't have to work and that they would be driving out with Bohdi (their pooch) on board. YAY! We were thrilled and had such an awesome time with them in Tulsa and in good ole Springfield. It had been ages since all 4 of us have been together. Love them! Check out their recent portraits I had the pleasure of taking ;-) 

Saturday afternoon, our guests headed back to the East Coast (right before Hurricane Sandy thank goodness!) and that night I was a 'Circus Zombie' in C-Street's Thriller performance. Super fun! Afterward a few friends joined us at the Savoy's Fright Night event benefiting the Regional Girls Shelter. Andrew was Beetlejuice and boy was that a hit! Everyone and their grandmother wanted a picture with him :-) Sunday was low key and it was nice to relax and enjoy time with my nieces and nephew. My brother-in-law Jim blew up a 9 foot high leaf pile that night. haha! Perfect way to end a super fun week!

Today November 1st and I'm looking forward to this month's weddings, sessions, events and Thanksgiving of course. This Saturday is our Fall Special day at Lost Hill Park. I still have a 1:00 if someone wants it. Call me! Anyone else partaking in Bass Pro's Fitness Festival this weekend? Levi will be running the marathon relay with friends. Happy Weekend ya'll!
